About Me

I am a second year Computer and Digital Forensics (BSc) student at Northumbria University, Newcastle. My particular interests are in computer forensics, cyber security, computer networks and multiseat computer systems. I also work as a Student Ethical Hacker at the North East Business Resilience Centre, a position I have held since February 2023.

In my spare time, I have completed various IT projects such as implementing complex network infrastructure for the home (involving VLANs and access control), website hosting, multiseat computing using thin clients, and implementing corporate-style network storage.

I have experience with networking software, such as PFSense, OPNSense and VyOS. I also have experience with the Cisco line of routers and switches, and have achieved a merit in the first final exam of the Cisco CCNA course, Introduction to Networks. In terms of programming, most of my knowledge is in Python and Shell scripting, but I also have experience with Java and C++. I am proficient in most major Operating Systems administration, such as with Microsoft Windows (Servers and Endpoints), Linux and Apple MacOS.

In addition to my work with IT, I am also a musician and play the drums in my spare time. I compete every year in the BBE Championships (either North East Area or Yorkshire Area contests) and I also just play for my own enjoyment.
